NECO Accredits Saudi Arabian School as SSCE Centre

This comes after the successful accreditation of Nigeria International School, Jeddah, by a NECO team led by Dr. Yusuf Sununu, Minister of State for Education, and Prof. Ibrahim Wushishi, NECO Registrar.

During the visit, the delegation evaluated the school's facilities and engaged with its management and staff.

NECO, in a statement on Saturday, announced the development.

In his address, Dr. Sununu urged the school's staff and students to represent Nigeria well in Saudi Arabia and the entire Gulf States Cooperation Council.

After carefully assessing the school's facilities like examination halls, classrooms, laboratories, library, curriculum, and security, Nigeria International School Jeddah was deemed suitable for NECO SSCE Internal exams and granted full accreditation.

Prof. Wushishi provided insight into NECO's history and emphasized the importance of school accreditation for adequate teaching and learning facilities.

Upon arrival at the school, the delegation was welcomed by the Consular General, Bello Kazaure, and the school's proprietor, Abdulkadir Maikudi, among others.

The minister and NECO registrar also visited Nigeria House in Jeddah, where they engaged with the Consular General and consulate staff.
