$3,2million National Children’s Library Inaugurated

The Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has inaugurated the National Children library.  It is a $3.2million project which started in 2016. It was funded by Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) to support the development of Early Childhood reading.

 At the Opening of the facility Dr. Bawumia says statistically, lack of education is directly linking to poverty this why the Government is building more libraries to transform the child.

The library has facilities for the visually and hearing impaired. It has conference rooms, computer room, media room, parent awaiting room with Wi-Fi. It was completed in 2020.
