The government urged parents and guardians of pupils and students to bring their children home promptly by the early hours of Friday.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Director, Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Education, Aliyu Yusuf.

He said that all boarding school students and those who attend classes on a full-time basis are to resume their studies on April 30, 2023, while the day students are scheduled to return May 1, 2023.

The ministry urged parents, guardians, and students to ensure that they were in compliance with the approved resumption dates.

The ministry also wished the students and pupils a relaxing vacation, full of pleasant surprises and Ramadan Mubarak.

It, however, warned that appropriate disciplinary action would be taken against defaulting students.
