The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially communicated that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) is not yet open.

In a statement shared on its official X account, JAMB reassured prospective candidates that details regarding the registration process will be forthcoming.

The announcement emphasized the importance of preparation, advising candidates to obtain their National Identification Number (NIN) and a unique phone number that has not been previously registered on JAMB's platform.

This information is crucial for generating a profile code ahead of the registration period.

Additionally, JAMB has designated "The Lekki Headmaster" by Kabir Alabi Garba as the approved reading text for the Use of English examination in the upcoming UTME. This novel replaces "Life Changer" by Khadijat Jalli, which was used in the previous examination cycle.

JAMB reiterated its commitment to providing updates on both the registration process and examination details, urging candidates to remain vigilant for further announcements.
