In a move aimed at enhancing academic standards and aligning with Governor Monday Okpebholo's vision for Ambrose Alli University (AAU), the Edo State Government has issued a directive to immediately close all satellite campuses of the institution.

This decision, outlined in a statement dated February 11, 2025, and signed by Secretary to the State Government Umar Ikhilor, mandates that all academic programs must henceforth be conducted exclusively at AAU's main campus in Ekpoma.

The government's action is part of its broader strategy to elevate AAU's standing by focusing resources on its central location. The directive emphasizes compliance from both the university's Governing Council and management, underscoring a commitment to quality education through centralized operations.
