Two Nigerian Airports Win ACI Awards

Nigerian Airports Recognized for Excellence in Airport Emergency Management

The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and the Port Harcourt International Airport have received prestigious recognition from the Airport Council International (ACI) Africa for their outstanding commitment to airport emergency management and resilience.

This accolade was awarded during the Gala Night at the 33rd Annual General Assembly of ACI Africa, held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Tunde Moshood, Special Assistant on Media and Communications to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, announced this achievement in a statement.

The awards were presented by Ali Tounsi, Secretary-General of ACI Africa, and Emmanuel Chaves, President of ACI Africa.

The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, was specifically acknowledged for his leadership in these efforts while the awards highlight the dedication and hard work of all personnel involved in enhancing safety protocols and emergency preparedness at these airports.
