The business community in Kano State, Nigeria, has appealed to the Federal Government to deepen its support for their businesses with a view to enhancing the nation's economy.

Sabiu Bako, Chairman, Kano Business Community, revealed this on Friday during a town hall meeting organised by Mr. Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation.

The chairman acknowledged that businesses in the state were facing many problems that had affected the national economy.

Bako noticed that owners of businesses in the state were not in the picture of a lot of the interventions initiated by Tinubu’s administration in the last 8 months.

He appealed to the federal government to make sure that the community accesses these interventions with the purpose of improving their businesses and building a better economy.

He asked the administration to speed up action in restoring sufficient power supply to the state and use the AKK pipe gas lines.

He also pleaded with the Federal Government to make sure that the programs and interventions meant for improving farming and agricultural activities are accessed by the target groups in the state.

The Minister thanked the business community in the state and noted the different business attainments and opportunities initiated by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu government.
