Jaiz Bank has successfully listed N10.04 billion from its private placement on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), following regulatory approvals from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

This achievement positions Jaiz Bank among a select group of financial institutions that have met the CBN's new capital requirements ahead of the June 2026 deadline.

In a statement released yesterday, the bank highlighted its strong financial position, noting that its total assets currently amount to ₦1.06 trillion, with shareholders’ funds reaching ₦47.9 billion.

Dr. Haruna Musa, the Chief Executive Officer, expressed pride in this capital-raising exercise, emphasizing the commitment of the bank's board and management to deliver value through ethical finance solutions.

He stated, "Jaiz Bank is well-positioned to compete effectively on all fronts, fulfilling customer needs through ethical and innovative financing."

Despite facing a challenging operating environment, Dr. Musa pointed out that Jaiz Bank has demonstrated resilience and remarkable growth across both financial and non-financial metrics, solidifying its path to becoming Africa's leading ethical bank.

He further emphasized the bank's strategic focus on strengthening relationships with existing customers while attracting new ones through innovative products and services.

The bank's performance metrics reflect its operational efficiency, boasting a Return on Equity (ROE) of 60.74% and a Return on Assets (ROA) of 2.18%.

This successful capital raise not only reinforces Jaiz Bank's leadership in ethical banking but also underscores its dedication to providing innovative financial solutions tailored to customer needs.
