Everton Sacks Frank Lampard

After a 1-1 draw at reigning champions Manchester City on 31 December, Everton have lost 4-1 to Brighton at Goodison Park, were knocked out of the FA Cup with a 3-1 defeat at Manchester United and were then beaten by Southampton despite taking the lead, before the latest defeat by West Ham.
After a 1-1 draw against the defending champions Manchester City on December 31, Everton fell 4-1 to Brighton at Goodison Park, lost 3-1 at Manchester United in the FA Cup semifinals, lost to Southampton despite taking the lead, and most recently lost to West Ham.
All season, they have only been able to win three games.
In recent games, there have been numerous, loud fan demonstrations against the board, and following the defeat to Southampton, fans organised a sit-in protest.
Due to what the club described as a "serious and credible threat to their safety," the Everton board of directors was unable to attend the game.
No threats or incidents have been reported to police before the match, according to Merseyside Police.
