More than 70 women who worked on two tea plantations in Kenya controlled by the British have said to the BBC that their bosses forced them to engage in sex in order to keep their employment.
Local executives were observed by BBC undercover filming pushing a female employee for sex.
These managers have reportedly been suspended, according to the two companies, Unilever and James Finlay and Co.
As the BBC was recording, Unilever sold its Kenyan tea business.
The new owner claimed to have started a thorough, impartial investigation.
Sainsbury's, one of the largest supermarket chains in Britain, referred to the accusations as "horrific" and stated that they had no place in its supply chain.
