Rangers Awarded N150 Million Prize for NPFL Title Win

The Flying Antelopes won their eighth NPFL championship on Sunday after defeating Bendel Insurance 2-0 at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Enugu Rangers are set to get a whooping N150 million in prize money for winning the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title.

The Flying Antelopes won their eigth NPFL championship on Sunday after defeating Bendel Insurance 2-0 at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Kenechukwu Agu and Chidiebere Nwobodo scored the winning goals in front of the fan-studded stadium that included Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah.

This marks Rangers’ first title in eight years. The trophy will be awarded to the team after this weekend's season-ending encounter against Plateau United in Jos.

Rangers, led by coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League next season.
