Lagos Local News learned that Adams Ojonla, the rescued victim, regained his freedom on Monday when the abductors encountered some hunters in the Papa area of Iwo.
Ojonla, a 38-year-old Fulani, was kidnapped by eight gunmen; Last Friday, Bororo Hamzat and Deere Ibrahim were spotted at Idi Araba and Laagi Fulani along Iwo/Aawe/Oyo Road.
The abductors were said to have engaged the hunters in a gun battle at Papa, during which Ojonla was left behind.

An anonymous source said, “They contacted the families of those abducted late on Sunday. They initially asked for N5m for each one of them. But today (Monday), they reduced the sum to N4m for each of the two people in their custody.
