

Nigerian military personnel were spotted engaging in a free-for-all in Bayelsa State during the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday.
A viral 53-second clip captures a driver in a marked Naval Police Hilux. “Naval Police” was seen getting out of his vehicle and exchanging words with another driver.
Shortly after returning to his vehicle, an armed soldier approached and threw a punch at him, triggering a physical fight between the two.
The matter quickly escalated into a free-for-all, with personnel attached to both vehicles exchanging blows, while speechless civilians watched in disbelief.
At the time of reporting the news, authorities had yet to find out what triggered the fight.
It was gathered that the incident occurred as the president was departing the venue of an official engagement during his visit to the state.
President Tinubu was in Bayelsa to commission projects, where he reaffirmed his government’s commitment to tackling insecurity across the country.
He pledged sustained investment in Nigerian armed forces, noting that his administration would continue to equip and train security personnel to confront insurgency, banditry, and other violent threats.
