Ekiti: Three in Court for Stealing Pumping Machine

The suspects were blamed for taking a siphoning machine.

Three suspects, Buhari Ibrahim, 18; Muniru Yahaya, 20; Rufai Isiaka, 20, were on Monday summoned by the Ekiti State Police Order before an Ado-Ekiti Boss Officer Court.

The suspects were said to have committed the offense on July 18 at around 11:40 a.m at Tinuola Region in Ado-Ekiti.

The police investigator, Insp Caleb Leramo, let the court know that the accused took the siphoning machine, estimated at N40,000 having a place with one Oso Modupe.

He said the offense repudiated Segment 302 of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.

The examiner asked the court for a deferment to empower him to concentrate on the case record and gather his observers.

The respondents, in any case, argued not blameworthy to the charge leveled against them.

Insight to the respondents, Mr Sunday Balogun, encouraged the court to concede the litigants bail, with a commitment that they wouldn't bounce bail.

The Main Justice, Mr Saka Afunso, truly bailed the litigants in the amount of N20,000 with one guarantee each in like aggregate.

He adjourned the case till August 28 for hearing.
