Dr. Solomon Kwabi, CEO of Givers Herbal Centre and producer of GC Mixture and capsules, and other herbal products, has resolved the confusion between highlife legend Daddy Lumba and gospel musician, Isiah Ampong.

As part of resolving the long-standing feud, the CEO of Givers Herbal Center made an undisclosed cash donation to Ampong.

The beef between the two music giants has existed since 2018, but it was the release of a song by Daddy Lumba titled "Ofon na edi asem fo" that reignited the feud.

Owing to the content of the song, "Ofon na edi asem fo," which was accompanied by a stern warning to a detractor, a section of the public claimed that Lumba’s song was indeed targeted at someone.

“That useless individual, I am not done dealing with him,” Daddy Lumba said while unveiling the song on DL FM in December 2022.

His long-running feud with gospel musician Isaiah Ampong was reignited by the development. Ampong claims the diss song was addressed at him and has reacted with the song "Onyame Akatua." However, neither has acknowledged picking on the other.

In an interview with the media, Dr. Kwabi stated that the long-running feud should cease, which is why he decided to smoke a peace pipe with them.

“I have a good relationship with both Daddy Lumba and Ampong, and the beef between them is not helpful for the music industry, so I decided to intervene to make peace prevail.”

The founder of Givers Herbal Centre claims that he has given some cash to Ampong to comfort him as part of the peace process, especially since he (Ampong) has continued to voice his ire over GHC 360,000 from an album launch earnings, which he claims Lumba snatched.

He was pleased when Ampong accepted the offer and agreed to put a stop to his conflict with Daddy Lumba, the legendary highlife musician.

For his part, Ampong thanked the CEO of Givers Herbal Centre for trying to settle the dispute and vowed never to strike Daddy Lumba hard again.

“Some big personalities in the country including my pastors from the SDA Church have all spoken to me, in addition to the big role that has been played by Dr Kwabi of Givers Herbal Centre and I really appreciate it,” he added.
