Yaa Jackson, a Ghanaian musician, has debunked viral rumors that she is married to her baby daddy.

Some months ago, some pictures and videos of a gathering between Yaa Jackson and her baby daddy’s families went viral. In the video, the family of her baby daddy came to seek her hand in marriage. Netizens reacted to the pictures and congratulated her on her marriage.

According to her, both families met to have a "knocking" ceremony to seek her hand in marriage and not for a marriage ceremony.

“We are not married; we just did a knocking rite where his family brought drinks to seek my hand in marriage. The pictures that came out on social media were just pictures from the knocking ceremony. However, we will be getting married very soon, but it might be a very private and small wedding. That is because I don’t fancy big things, so I don’t want to have a big wedding so no one might hear of it till it's done and over," she revealed in an interview.
