Nigeria needs to start winning games and fighting back, according to Super Eagles coach Finidi George.
Speaking following the unexpected 2-1 loss to the Republic of Benin in last night's 2026 World Cup qualifier held in Abidjan, the manager urged his team to put in more effort.
George also stated that they will assess how to get the most out of the players when the new season starts.
Finidi, sounding optimistic in the face of Nigeria's almost impossible challenge of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, stated that they have three points from four matches, so they can't throw in the towel.
