N’Golo Kante Set To Join Karim Benzema At Al Ittihad

Kante becomes the latest big name to leave Europe for Saudi Arabia, which was spearheaded by Cristiano Ronaldo when he joined Al Nassr in January.

N'Golo Kante has finalized his transfer to Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad, where he will be joining forces with fellow countryman Karim Benzema.

The midfielder leaves Chelsea following seven generally fruitful years with the team, during which he won the Premier League, the Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup, among other accolades.

Kante agreed to a four-year contract with the Saudi team, during which time he will reportedly receive €100 million (about £85.5 million), in addition to image and commercial rights.

According to reports, the 32-year-old will join Al Ittihad in July.

Following Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Al Nassr in January, Kante is the most popular player to have recently made the move from Europe to Saudi Arabia.

While Wolves midfielder is about to seal a move to Al Hilal, Benzema joined Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad earlier in the summer.
