Arsenal will face FC Porto in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 match at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, with Mikel Arteta's side looking to overturn a one-goal lead.
Three weeks ago in Porto, Galeno's stoppage-time strike put the Gunners one goal behind, and they would need to do something extraordinary to get past the visitors' defense, manned by experienced center-back Pepe.
While Arsenal has been performing well domestically since their defeat in Portugal, they will need to go above and beyond to win the Champions League, as Porto, like them, is doing well in the league, despite being seven points behind table-toppers Sporting Lisbon.
Arteta is set to be missing Gabriel Martinelli, one of Arsenal's most important players, who suffered a foot injury last week but has yet to train with the club and will likely be out.
On the other hand, Porto will make a few changes to the team that defeated the Gunners in the first leg. They will be missing Mehdi Taremi, who has a knee injury, as well as Ivan Marcano and Zaidu Sanusi, who have been sidelined for a while.
Despite winning the league under ex-manager Jose Mourinho's guidance in 2004, FC Porto has never won a European game in England in 22 attempts. They've also never won both legs in a knockout match.
They are, however, mindful that a draw at the Emirates Stadium would be sufficient to advance to the next round.
Arsenal has won all three home games against the Portuguese team by a remarkable 11-0 aggregate score.
While it will not be an easy encounter, both teams are expected to fight till the very last moment, Porto, courtesy of their strong defense, will once again emerge triumphant.
