The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has once again shifted its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, originally scheduled for tomorrow. This decision was reached during an enlarged meeting on Tuesday by the PDP Governors’ Forum, as confirmed by the forum's chairman, Bala Mohammed.
The meeting was attended by key party members, including the Board of Trustees (BoT), the National Working Committee (NWC), the National Assembly Caucus, and the Forum of Former Governors.
In a statement, Bala Mohammed announced that the NEC meeting will now take place on November 8, 2024. He explained that the postponement is intended to allow the party to approach the November 16 Ondo gubernatorial elections with greater unity and strength to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
