According to reports, in the race for senator, PDP candidate Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi defeated APC candidate Ajibola Famurewa, who was running for the first time in the Osun East Senatorial District.
Olubiyi Fadeyi of the PDP won the senatorial election in Osun Central with 134, 229 votes, defeating Ajibola Bashiru of the APC with 117, 609 votes.
Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi defeated APC candidate Famurewa Israel Ajibola in Osun East by 127,877 votes to 95,670.
Olalere Kamorudeen Oyewumi of the PDP received 138476 votes, while Raheem Amidu Tadese of the APC received 104459 votes.

Adewale Moruf of the PDP won the Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu federal constituency with 71,677 votes, defeating Bosede Ogo-Oluwa of the APC with 58,992 votes.
Lukman Alabi of the PDP won the Ayedire, Iwo, and Ola-Oluwa federal constituency with 35678 votes, while Amobi Yinusa of the APC received 31255 votes.
Akanni Clement of the PDP won the Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, Ila federal constituency with 26242 votes, defeating Adebisi Obawale Simeon of the APC with 16725 votes.
Adetunji Abidemi Olusoji of the PDP won the Odo-Otin, Boripe, and Ifelodun federal constituency with 41389 votes, defeating Moshood Adekunle of the APC with 35911 votes.
