

The Osun State House of Assembly on Friday said that Governor Ademola Adeleke had sent it a list of 25 commissioner nominees to review and approve.
Adewale Egbedun, Osun Assembly Speaker, stated that he received a letter from the governor requesting the nominations' confirmation in accordance with sections 192(2) and 196(1) of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution (amended).
According to Mr. Egbedun, the governor requested the appointment of 25 Special Advisers and submitted 25 names for the position of commissioner.
He stated that Oladosu Babatunde, Bayo Ogunbamgbe, Sesan Oyedele, Kolapo Alimi, Soji Adeigbe, Moshood Olagunju, George Alabi, and Sunday Oroniyi are among the 25 nominees for commissioner.
Bunmi Jenyo, Ayo Awolowo, Wole Bada, Dipo Eluwole, Rasheed Aderibigbe, Moruf Adeleke, Adeyemo Ademola, Olabiyi Odunlade, Jola Akintola, Mayowa Adejorin, Adenike Adeleke, Tola Fasheru, and Gani Ola-Oluwa are additional individuals.
According to Mr. Egbedun, the nominees have until Tuesday, July 11, to submit 35 copies of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the Clerk of the House.
After that, he set up a seven-member ad hoc committee with the Deputy Speaker, Akinyode Oyewusi, as its head to review the candidates on Wednesday, July 12, and then report back to the House.
He said further that to say that the Nigerian Constitution mandates that the nominees declare their assets in front of the Code of Conduct Bureau.
