Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has announced that the Imole Youth Corps, a youth empowerment scheme, will soon be unveiled. The announcement was made on Tuesday at the Stakeholders meeting of the Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the Government House in Osogbo, the state capital.

Governor Adeleke also revealed that the #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest has ended in Osun after a government delegation met with the protesters and promised to submit their demands to the President. "I assure you, your government is working to deliver on our electoral promises. More good things are coming. Your government is doing a lot to bring relief to our people," he stated.

Highlighting the government's recent achievements, Adeleke mentioned, "We just paid bursary to students; we have disbursed almost 4 billion naira to cooperative bodies in Osun; we are building several roads and bridges; we just paid almost 2 billion for half salary and cooperative deductions; we are renovating health centers and educational facilities; we will soon announce the takeoff of Imole Youth Corps; new teachers will soon be announced."

Governor Adeleke also addressed the internal affairs of the ruling party, urging party members to remain united and focused. "My only appeal to us is that we must remain united. We should never allow our issues to degenerate. We must remain one united family," he emphasized.

He stressed the importance of unity ahead of the upcoming local government election, which he described as crucial for the 2026 governorship election. "We must not allow personal interest to supersede the general interest of the party. We have a wounded opposition that is desperately seeking to destroy the state. We should not give them ammunition to use against us," Adeleke warned.

The Governor concluded by calling for party discipline and adherence to the decisions of the party leadership to strengthen the party and enhance its chances in future elections.
