In a continued effort to enhance basic healthcare services, Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration has launched a new phase of rehabilitation and upgrade for primary healthcare centers across Osun State.

Following the successful intervention in 50 centers during the first phase, the Osun State Primary Healthcare Renovation Committee has begun the next phase of project execution. On Tuesday, the committee, led by Special Adviser on Public Health Dr. Adekunle Akindele, visited 16 healthcare centers in Ede-North, Egbedore, Iwo, and Aiyedire LGAs.

Dr. Akindele urged project engineers and local supervisors to ensure the renovations align with the Governor's mandate. The visit marked the start of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th phases, set to be implemented concurrently.

The monitoring team, including Primary Healthcare Board Chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Adisa, will continue inspections and assessments as scheduled.
