David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, an Afrobeats star, has prayed to God ahead of a Supreme Court decision that will allow his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, governor of Osun, to become a legitimate number one citizen of the state.
In the Osun State governorship election that took place on July 16th, the Supreme Court had set a deadline of May 9, 2023, to rule.
Recall that the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, had saved the choice of the Osun State Governorship Political race Request Council, which invalidated the appointment of Congressperson Ademola Adeleke as Legislative leader of Osun State.
As a result, Adeleke was confirmed as the winner of the July 2022 governorship election in the state by the Appellate Court.
Speaking ahead of the ruling, Davido, who was actively supporting his uncle's bid prior to the polls, was optimistic of a favorable outcome.
