Chief Tony Okocha, chairman of the Rivers State caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that his priority is to build a stronger, more active, and vibrant party in the state.

Okocha revealed this on Tuesday while visiting the APC state office in Port Harcourt, the state capital, with other members of the caretaker committee.

In his mission to build a united, spirited, and vigorous party, he promised to reach out to all critical stakeholders of the party in the state.

The caretaker committee chairman said: “The task ahead of us is a huge one, but with your support, we shall build a party that will contest elections, win elections, and take over the government of the state.

“We must present a viable opposition in the State. We are here to build and not to scatter.

We shall encourage all our party loyalists and supporters to come on board with us in this mission to reposition the party.

“Your ideas, opinions, and suggestions will aid us in achieving this mandate.”
