The governor believes that this measure will facilitate easy access to education and encourage learners to attend school at the basic education level.

During a visit by officials from the National Examination Council, led by Prof Ibrahim Wushishi, the registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Governor Bago urged them to collaborate with the government in enhancing the appeal of schools to students and improving the overall quality of education in the North-Central state.

He said, “We have not felt NECO in terms of corporate social responsibilities.

We have not seen a block of classrooms that has been fixed by NECO. You cannot be a tenant in our state and not add value to our people and communities,” Bago charged.

The registrar mentioned that the examination body shall collaborate with the state government to better education in the state.
