This highly anticipated development was announced earlier by the Managing Director of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo. She had revealed that the Lagos Blue Line Rail would commence commercial operations on Monday, September 4th, with the honor of hosting Governor Sanwo-Olu as its debut passenger, marking a new era in Lagos' public transportation system."
