The arrest of Killaboi followed a declaration by the Lagos State Police Command on the 10th of October that he was wanted in connection with the tragic murder of his 21-year-old girlfriend, Augusta Osedion, a student at Lead City University.
The saga initially unfolded when Killaboi, used his Instagram handle @Killaboigram to shockingly confessed to about stabbing Augusta Osedion back in July.
According to his posts, a heated dispute had escalated, culminating in the tragic event. Overwhelmed by fear and guilt, he fled his residence in Lagos shortly after the incident.
In a message shared on his Insta Stories, Killaboi revealed his inner turmoil, stating, "I got into an argument with my girlfriend @austa xxo which fight I mistakenly stabbed her and ran away out of fear and been suicidal since then. I intend to end my life now because I have lost the one I cherish so much. I want to do the right thing and turn myself in. I will gladly die by paying with my life now."
This heartfelt confession was not confined to Instagram alone, as it was also mirrored on his now-deleted Twitter account, @Vvs_crypt.
Following this shocking revelation, Killaboi took flight from Nigeria and sought refuge in another country, evading the consequences of his actions.
In a recent development, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos Police, has confirmed Killaboi's apprehension in Sierra Leone.
Furthermore, it has been disclosed that the Lagos Police have initiated the necessary procedures to secure the return of the 26-year-old social media influencer to Nigeria, ensuring that he faces the legal ramifications of his alleged involvement in this tragic case.
