Osun Govt. Offers Free Ride For Indigenes Ahead Easter Celebration

It is expected to arrive at the Nelson Mandela Park Train Station in Osogbo at 6 p.m., and the journey back to Lagos from Osogbo will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 10.

The governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has approved a free train ride for Osun State residents in Lagos and other South West states who want to celebrate Easter with their families in Osun State. 

This decision was made to make life easier for his people.

It was stated in a release that was signed by Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson for the Governor, that the project was titled: On Thursday, April 6, 2023, the Imole Free Train Service will depart the Iddo Terminus in Lagos at 10 a.m., making stops at designated train stations in Ogun and Oyo States to pick up passengers. It is expected to arrive at the Nelson Mandela Park Train Station in Osogbo at 6 p.m., and the journey back to Lagos from Osogbo will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 10.

The release said that the Imole Free Train Service is meant to help state residents who are returning home to celebrate with loved ones. It also said that Governor Adeleke's administration would continue to provide free train service to natives during holidays.

As a result, citizens were encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to travel to the state and celebrate with loved ones.
