

Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in Kaduna State, confirmed that there had been a kidnapping incident on Tuesday.
“The management of the school has submitted the names and classes of the kidnapped students.
The Commissioner said the governor had condemned the abduction as unfortunate and assured him that efforts were being made to rescue both students and other kidnapped citizens.
Aruwan also announced that the Kaduna State Government had lifted a 24-hour curfew imposed on residents of Sabon Garin Nasarawa - Tirkaniya community in Chikun LGA.
He said that after a careful review of the situation by security agencies, steps have been taken to ensure the safety and integrity of citizens.
“With effect from Wednesday, April 5, the curfew will be in place from 7:00PM to 7:00AM, while residents of the area can go about their activities between 7:00AM and 7:00PM.
“The Government advises residents of the community to comply with the curfew and maintain orderly conduct as security agencies continued to work in the affected areas.
