The Leading All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot resolve the increasing general hardship in Nigeria alone.

According to the party, all Nigerian citizens, irrespective of status, should venture into agriculture, which it described as the only solution to the challenges.

Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, Chairman, Ebonyi State chapter of APC, disclosed this at an event in Abakaliki, the state capital.

Emegha advised Nigerians to stop blaming President Tinubu, but partake in fruitful ventures that can put food on their table.

There is hardship in the country now, and the most we can do is to be helping those we are better than.

I want everyone to engage in farming, let’s feed first. They are the things we can do by ourselves. I have informed my family members that we have to go into cultivation. If you have food, I doubt if we will be hungry.

Government, to some extent, can provide food for established agricultural programmes. So, why not go into cultivation? Let everyone engage in agriculture.

If you are starving, what has the President got to do? Tinubu cannot do it alone, all Nigerians have to join hands and solve this general hardship.

Let’s go and farm! Think of what you can produce on your farm. You can produce sufficient garri, rice and give it to others. Why should you be waiting for the President to give you money before you can go to your garden and farm? Did President Tinubu grab anybody’s farm? The answer is no.

Let all of us know that we can resolve the challenges by ourselves. If there is an abundance of food now, you will see that everybody will boycott Abuja. Go to Aba, see that the people there are comfortable because they don’t depend on the government. If you say that you are an honorable member there, they will look at you as a useless person.
