In a move to enforce tax compliance, the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) took decisive action on Thursday, sealing eight telecommunication masts across the urban landscape of the state.

The measure was enacted due to outstanding unpaid taxes amounting to a staggering N5.8 billion.

The affected masts, key infrastructure for various telecommunication networks, were identified as follows:

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) mast (IHS) - Tafawa Balewa Way, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.

GLO Mast - Shehu Laminu Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) Mast (IHS) - Surami Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) Mast (IHS) - Etsu Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN), Airtel, Glo, 9-Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) Masts (ATC) - Nagwamatse Road, Kaduna.

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) (IHS) - Nagwamatse Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) (IHS) - Shehu Laminu Road, Unguwan Rimi, Kaduna.

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) (IHS) - Kabala Junction bye-Pass, Kaduna.
