Chidinma Adetshina, winner of the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant 2024, paid a courtesy visit to the internally displaced person camp in Abuja on Tuesday.
This was revealed in a press release and pictures posted on the verified X (formally Twitter) handle of the pageantry winner on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The statement reads thus: Photos from Miss Universe Nigeria @chichi_vanessa visit the Karamajiji IDP camp in Abuja yesterday.
According to journalists, Adetshina, who represented Taraba State, was installed Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 on August 31.
Her journey to becoming a beauty queen has been incredibly impressive. She was forced to drop out of the Miss South Africa pageant due to a controversy about her citizenship. The Department of Home Affairs for South Africa had made public that initial findings suggested Ms. Adetshina’s mother may have committed identity theft. She later accepted a request to take part in the Miss Universe Nigeria.
