A pastor from the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church, Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, along with three others, Ibrahim Agbowewe, Suleiman Ogunbunmi, and Gafari Akinsanya, were apprehended in the Saje Area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
They were found in possession of a human skull and confessed to intending to use it for ritual purposes.
The arrest occurred following a tip-off from concerned citizens regarding the suspects' suspicious activities in the area. Additionally, the authorities recovered other items, including a large calabash, a black Toyota Camry car, and a ram, all of which were taken to the police station.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the arrest and disclosed that the suspects had admitted to their intentions of using the skull for blessings and money rituals. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
