NNPP Establishes Caretaker Committee in Gombe State
The New Nigeria People's Party on Monday appointed a five-member caretaker committee to manage the affairs of the party in Gombe State for six months.
It was gathered that the installation is a follow up to the disintegration by the National Working Committee of the party in five states comprising Gombe State.
The five-member caretaker committee includes Abdullahi Mohammed as the chairman, Sulaiman Hamza, Abubakar Kalagar as the secretary, Dauda Muhammad Bajoga, and Ambrose Ismail.
Addressing members immediately after their swearing in, the chairman of the committee pleads for unity and support.
He said, “I'm proud and honoured to announce that the new Caretaker Committee for the Gombe State Chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party has been successfully inaugurated.
"This committee has been established to strengthen the party’s structures and foster inclusiveness as we get ready for future political activities.
While pleading for harmony, the caretaker committee chairman urged for togetherness.

asked the members to work together to make the party better.
He said, “Everyone should share their ideas about how to move the party forward. This committee will be in charge for six months, and then we'll have a party congress.”
