Niger State Governor, Bago Presents 48% Increased Budget for 2025
Says the revenue to be derived from statutory allocation is N53.4 billion, Value Added Tax is N85.3 billion.
Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger state has submitted a budget of N1.558 trillion for the upcoming 2025 fiscal year to the state House of Assembly.
The proposed 2025 budget is significantly larger than the 2024 budget, with a 48.32% increase.
According to Governor Bago, the revenue will be derived from statutory allocation is N53.4 billion, Value Added Tax is N85.3 billion, other FAAC receipts are N236.9 billion, IGR is N63.3 billion, other IGR is N186,368,241,948.00, and capital receipts are N933.5 billion, totalling N1.558 trillion.
He noted that the capital receipts element of the resource inflow was made up of N493,496,681,728.00 and N440,062,086,228.00 billion as loans and grants separately.
