Man Arrested for Invading Plateau Bank with a Bomb

In Dadin Kowa, Jos, in the south of Plateau State, a man was apprehended for attempting to plant a bomb on the premises of a bank. Vigilant security guards at the bank spotted him carrying the bomb, and their quick action prevented a potential tragedy

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, bank security guards identified the threat and raised the alarm. They were able to prevent the suspect from causing harm.

After the incident, angry crowds gathered around the alleged suspect, with some reportedly demanding that he be killed. However, law enforcement took custody of the man for a proper investigation.

A picture attached to Makama's post showed the bomb strapped to the suspect's body. The police are currently investigating the suspect's motives and any potential links to terrorist organizations in the country.
