Just In: South East APC Meets Igbo Leaders  

Says despite the seeming disapproval of the party by the Igbo, the surest way to connect with the center and enjoy the dividends of democracy, is to support the APC.

The stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC), South East geopolitical zone have kicked off consultation with important Igbo leaders as a way of making in roads into the zone.

The National Vice Chairman of the party in the zone, Ijeomah Arodiogbu, revealed this when he led a delegation of the party leadership in the zone on a courtesy visit to Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe popularly known as Obi of Onitsha. 

While addressing Obi of Onitsha on behalf of the leaders, Arodiogbu noted that despite the seeming disapproval of the party by the Igbo, the surest way to connect with the center and enjoy the dividends of democracy, is to support the APC, stating that the party has great respect for the traditional institution.

Consequently, he said, “let me state that the APC in my administration will always endorse and consider Monarchs as important sources of wisdom, and would regularly seek such priceless counsel at all times.

Igwe Achebe, who received the party leaders, appreciated Dr. Arodiogbu and his team for the visit, and wished them well in their consultations. 

The National Vice Chairman of APC was accompanied by the party’s Zonal Organizing Secretary, Dozie Ikedife, the Vice Chairman, Anambra APC, Emma Ekwuaju, a former senator representing Anambra North, Chief Emma Anosike, and others.
