A helicopter belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) crashed on Monday morning in Tami village, Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna state.

Residents stated that the incident occurred around 5 a.m. when they heard a loud sound from the crash site.

The helicopter crashed during a routine operational flight due to technical difficulties. Fortunately, the pilot successfully executed emergency protocols, securing his own survival. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the pilot emerged from the wreckage unscathed.

Residents of Tami village arrived quickly at the scene of the accident, offering assistance where possible and expressing relief that no one was killed.
According to reports, a team of military personnel from the Nigerian Air Force rushed to the site quickly to secure the area and begin an investigation.

They cordoned off the crash site to prevent unwanted access and ensure the residents' safety. The authorities also began conducting preliminary investigations to determine the cause of the crash, which was unknown at the time.
