Naira Marley, on Thursday, voiced his support for the agency’s campaign against drug abuse among youth, teenagers, followers, and Marlians.
While meeting with the Executive Chairman, Brigadier General Buba Marwa (retd.) at the national headquarters in Abuja, Marley stated that he had embraced the campaign to eliminate drugs from the streets.
The selection of Naira Marley by the agency has sparked reactions from social media users.
Ovie Success expressed his thoughts on his Facebook page, questioning whether the music star had ceased 'smoking' before being chosen to make the declaration.
He remarked, “I will sue NDLEA if I see Nairamarley smoking in his music video or in public, and if any of the artists signed to his record label are observed smoking.
“I hope @officialnairam1 has quit smoking before receiving payment from NDLEA for advocating against smoking and drugs.
“I am closely monitoring him as I am pleased with this campaign."
