Popular Anambra native doctor, Chukwudozie Nwangwu also known as ‘’akwa okuko tiwara Aki,” is said to have been abducted by unknown gunmen suspected to be Kidnappers.
According to reports, the incident happened on Sunday night in one of his hotels in the town.
Also, the Anambra State police command has confirmed his kidnap as the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga said the incident happened around 11:30 pm last night.
The state Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye has already ordered operatives to go after his abductors and ensure his release.
Witnesses revealed that Akwa Okuko’s two personal aides were killed in the vicinity of the hotel before the kidnappers effortlessly took him away.
Tiwara Aki, is regarded as one of the strongest native doctors in Anambra State, it was a surprise that he was kidnapped with so much ease in his hotel, Triple P Hotel, which is one of the three hotels he built in Oba.
Additionally, the controversial native doctor was known to have always boasted of how powerful and rich he was, while his mansion in the community was also said to have attracted people who sought anti-bullet charms and money rituals.
Many social media users troll him as he was believed to possess power of disappearance, but could not disappear when the kidnappers came for him.
Report says, many people have been trooping to his house in Oba to find out if he was truly kidnapped in view of the enormous powers he was believed to possess.
The kidnappers have also not made any contact with his family in terms of ransom to be paid.
‘’Akwa okuko tiwara Aki’’ which is translated as the egg that broke the palm nut- is a name which he earned by performing a miracle when he crushed about 24 palm nuts with poultry egg/ hen’s egg.
He hails from Umumpama village, Oba, in Idemili South LGA of Anambra state, Nigeria.
Akwa, as he’s fondly called by his admirers is the first son of his family, his father is a renowned Traditional Doctor popularly known as Mmiri Mara Ugo n’Oba.
