Governor Dr. Nasir Idris of Kebbi State swore in four new high court judges and two khadis on Friday, emphasizing the importance of judicial integrity and accountability.

Following the ceremony, he announced a significant allocation of N300 million for the procurement of vehicles designated for the newly appointed judges and khadis, underscoring his administration's commitment to enhancing the welfare of judiciary staff.

Among the newly sworn-in judges is Muhammad Nuradeen Abdulrahman, a prominent lawyer known for his unwavering commitment to justice.

Governor Idris urged all judicial officers to uphold fairness and integrity in their duties, reinforcing the expectation that they serve all citizens equitably.

The swearing-in event, held at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, was attended by senior judicial officials and key political figures from the state.

In addition to this judicial appointment, Governor Idris also inaugurated a national Qur'anic recitation competition at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, further highlighting his administration's engagement with cultural and educational initiatives.
