FRSC Appoints Inyang E. Umoh as New Sector Commander for Osun

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has appointed Corps Commander Inyang E. Umoh as the new Sector Commander for Osun Sector Command. This appointment follows the deployment and elevation of Corps Commander Henry Benamaisia to Rivers State as Zonal Commander.

The announcement of Umoh's new role was made by Agnes Ogungbemi, the Command Public Education Officer, in a statement released on Friday in Osogbo.

The statement read, “Following the deployment of former Sector Commander, Corps Commander Henry Benamaisia, to Rivers State as Zonal Commanding Officer due to his elevation, the management of the Federal Road Safety Corps has deemed it necessary to appoint another experienced officer, Corps Commander Inyang E. Umoh, to lead the affairs of the FRSC in Osun State.”

Profile of the Sector Commander

Corps Commander Inyang Edet Umoh hails from Akwa Ibom State. He is married to Mrs. Utibe-Abasi and they are blessed with children.

Umoh graduated with a degree in Accounting from the University of Uyo and is a member of the National Accountants of Nigeria. He joined the FRSC in 1996 and has served the Corps in various capacities. His commendable track record and exemplary service led the Corps Marshal to appoint him as the Sector Commander for Osun State.
