The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, has told Governor Hope Uzodinma  of Imo State to address calls by residents of the state to remodel his commissioners even as the 60 days enshrined by the constitution elapses next week since he dismissed members of his executives.

Goodluck Ibem, President General of COSEYL, in a press statement he issued to journalists on Sunday, said residents of the State are waiting on the remodel of his commissioners to cushion the outcome of poverty experienced in the State and country.

Ibem said ”We know the country is experiencing a lot of economic downturn and that is why we are urging Governor Uzodinma to pay attention to the people and remodel his commissioners.

“The general assertion is that if he does that, the aides will start their work and projects proposed will help enhance the economy of the people, money will move from one person to the other”.

Meanwhile, Ibem equally advised the governor to expedite action in the election of the local government chairmen in the State. This, he also noted, will assist in the provision of more jobs and opportunities for those in the rural communities.
