The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has commenced a campaign to impose price display and quantity obedience at supermarkets throughout Abuja.

The Commission commenced this at 4U Supermarket, Wuse 2, Abuja, on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

This is a straight response to concerns raised by consumers concerning the increasing costs of goods, which is opposed to the current strengthening of the naira.

The FCCPC hinted that price inconsistency remains a notable issue.

It stressed that consumers have the right to be informed of the prices of items they plan to buy.
