Enugu OAP, Adaigbo Dies of Kidney Failure

A Prominent On Air Personality, (OAP) at Dream 92.5 fm Enugu, Juliet Anozie, popularly known as Adaigbo, has passed on. It was gathered that she died on Friday, February 16, 2024 after battling with kidney failure.

The news of her death was made known in a statement made available by her family through a Facebook post on Saturday.

The statement read, “With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform you that our beloved Mother Mrs Juliet Anozie, Adaigbo journeyed to the great beyond yesterday. We indulge you all to put her family in your prayers in these trying times 🙏🙏🙏..

Before her death, Adaigbo was the head of the Igbo Unit and Ace broadcaster at Dream 92.5 fm Enugu, and a member of Nigerian Institute of Translation and Interpreters, (NITI). She Translates and Interpretes Igbo - English. 

According to the management of Dream 92.5 fm Enugu, Adaigbo's life took a new dimension in October 2021, following a medical diagnosis of chronic renal failure and the need for urgent kidney transplant.

Also in the news made available by journalists, “The management of Dream 92.5 fm in March 22, solicited for funds seeking to realize 25 million naira for her kidney transplant. 

“She was flown to India for a transplant where she spent about 15 months with a “successful kidney transplant” done on her. 

“Adaigbo returned to Nigeria in December, 2023 before passing on.
