Borno Gov Mourns as Spokesman, Gusau Dies in Indian Hospital

Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his spokesperson, Isa Gusau. 

According to the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, Gusau died on Thursday at an Indian hospital after a prolonged illness.

Zulum described Gusau as a dedicated public servant and a cherished member of his team. 

The statement quoted the governor, saying, “Mallam Isa Gusau was admired by everyone for his commitment to the people of Borno State and his exceptional professionalism in his role."

The governor emphasized Gusau's tireless advocacy for the state and praised his clarity and transparency in communicating government initiatives. 

Zulum highlighted Gusau's crucial role in fostering understanding and cooperation between the government and the people.
