Blord Freed from Kuje Prison After Meeting Bail Conditions
Nigerian billionaire and cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been released from the Kuje Correctional Facility.
Blord was released after completing his bail conditions on Monday, April 20, 2026.
This happened days after he was remanded for allegedly impersonating controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan.
The cryptocurrency entrepreneur was granted freedom and was also directed to deposit his international passport as part of his bail conditions on Friday.
Meanwhile, Blord was returned to prison after his passport could not arrive in Abuja from Anambra State on time.
Announcing his bail, prominent human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore commended the public for their support on Monday evening.
Posting a video of his release on his X, formerly Twitter, handle, Sowore wrote: “Linus Williams, also known as BLord, is finally out of Kuje Prison, and that outcome is a reminder that collective action can yield results.
No one should be abandoned to unjust detention. No one shall be left behind. THANK YOU, EVERYONE.”
