Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discuss the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda in the aviation industry.

According to a statement issued to newsmen on Friday, Onyema hinted that he lauded the president for his efforts in implementing policies aimed at stabilising business operations all over the country, especially in the aviation sector.

The Air Peace boss, who met with President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja on Thursday, affirmed that the president had made great progress in enhancing the ease of doing business in the aviation sector and in introducing reforms through the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.

Onyema, however, expressed confidence that Tinubu’s government would bring stability to the aviation sector.

He acknowledged that, although the economy is facing challenging times, the President’s reforms would benefit the nation in the long run. He also advised Nigerians to assist the government and enhance indigenous investments.

“The President is an entrepreneur, and he is trying to preserve businesses with his strategies, but people don’t know this. Some of us in business know what President Tinubu is trying to do, and we commend him, specifically in the aviation sector.

“What Tinubu is doing is the real reorganisation of the country. Many Nigerians assume restructuring means dividing the country along regional lines, but what the President is doing is genuine restructuring by changing how we operate as a nation to achieve better results in the long term,” Onyema claimed.
